Amanda Hines is the owner of Lava Booking in Oakland, California. She has been a strong presence in the music scenes of the Bay Area for over 10 years. Founded in 2006, Amanda started Lava Booking out of her passion for music and the necessity to provide Artists a fair deal for their talent. Lava Booking is both a talent buyer and a talent agent. Since Lava's Inception, she has been the talent buyer for 4 different venues in Oakland, CA, 1 venue in San Jose, CA and hosted nearly 150 showcases. Lava Booking works with all things rock, everything from Black Metal to Americana to Indie-Death-Post-Punk-Rock. As long as the music quality meets those of Lava's taste and standard. Lava Booking was the Talent Agent for the band Flametal from 2006 to late 2008. Pegataur (Oakland) and Eyes of Noctum (Los Angeles) are the only bands currently on Lava's Roster.
